Abstract
A kit comprises a personal care appliance and a power supply device. The personal care appliance and power supply device may have mating connectors. The personal care appliance has a socket with a socket geometry assigned to an ingress protection class. The power supply device has a plug geometry also assigned to an ingress protection class. The socket is shaped to allow insertion of the power plug when the plug geometry is assigned to an ingress protection class that is equal to the first ingress protection class, to allow insertion of the power plug when the plug geometry is assigned to an ingress protection class that is higher than the first ingress protection class, and to prevent insertion of the power plug when the plug geometry is assigned to an ingress protection class that is lower than the first ingress protection class.
