Abstract
A basketball launching system, apparatus, and methods are disclosed which provide multiple types of basketball passes. A controller is in electronic connection with a user interface and a throwing mechanism supported by a structural framework. The controller generates prompt(s) at the user interface requesting a user to select pass receipt locations and option(s) for the user to select a pass type. The controller receives data from the user interface indicating user input provided in response to the prompt(s) and any selection of the option(s). The controller commands the throwing mechanism to launch at least one basketball to each of the user selected pass receipt locations, and causes the basketballs to be launched in accordance with the selection of the one or more options regarding the pass type, where provided.
