In Formula I, rings A, B, C, and D are each a 5-membered or 6-membered ring; Lis selected from CR, SiR, GeR, N, or B; Lis selected from CRR', SiRR′, GeRR′, NR, O, S, Se, or C═X; X is CRR′, O, or S; each of Z, Z, Z, Z, Z, Z, Z, Z, and Zis independently C or N; each R, R′, R, R, R, and Ris independently hydrogen or a General Substituent; Lis coordinated to a metal M through the indicated dashed lines; metal M may be coordinated to other ligands; and any two adjacent R, R′, R, R, R, and Rmay be joined or fused to form a ring. Formulations, OLEDs, and consumer products including the compound are also provided.
