Abstract

A user equipment is connected to a master node associated with a master cell group and connected to a secondary node associated with a secondary cell group by utilizing a dual connectivity scheme. The UE comprises: a communicator () configured to receive an RRC (radio resource control) message including information instructing deactivation of the secondary cell group; and a controller configured to deactivate the secondary cell group according to the information. The controller is configured to determine whether or not a cell in which beam failure is detected is a primary cell belonging to the deactivated secondary cell group, and the communicator () is configured to transmit an SCGFailureInformation message related to failure of the secondary cell group to the master node when the controller determines that the cell is the primary cell.
