A secondary battery in which at least one of a positive electrode active material layer and a negative electrode active material layer includes a silicate multi-metal salt is disclosed. A chemical formula of the silicate multi-metal salt is at least one selected from YSiZZOand XXSiZZO, Y is selected from second main group elements, Xand Xare each independently selected from first main group elements, and Zand Zare each selected from third main group elements.
