Abstract
Methods, systems, and apparatus for solving service optimization tasks using quantum computation. In one aspect, a method includes receiving data representing a service optimization problem; modelling the service optimization problem as a length-restricted maximum-weighted path (LRMWP) problem on a graph; determining a binary program of the LRMWP problem; mapping the binary program of the LRMWP problem to quadratic unconstrained binary optimization (QUBO) formulation of the LRMWP problem; obtaining data representing a solution to the LRMWP problem from a quantum computing resource; and initiating an action based on the obtained data representing a solution to the LRMWP problem.
