Abstract
Systems and methods for generating a dynamic user interface in a content management system. User actions on items in the content management system may be tracked based on the process carried out by an application program, the user's role, and lifecycle state of the items and a user action history may be dynamically updated with user actions. User actions in the user action history may be ranked. An area of most frequently used actions is displayed together with an item from the content management system in response to a user request for the item. The area of most frequently used actions may be started with default configuration, and dynamically updated with ranking of user actions in the user action history.
