Abstract
A method for managing installation of a storage platform includes: monitoring, by an installation monitoring agent (IMA), an installation procedure of the storage platform to obtain logs; analyzing, by the IMA, the logs to extract a report; making, by the IMA and based on the report, a first determination that an installation issue is detected during the procedure; notifying, by the IMA, a resolution agent (RA) about the installation issue; inspecting, by the RA, the storage platform by sending a request to determine that the installation issue is valid; receiving, by the RA, a response from the storage platform; making, by the RA, a second determination that the installation issue is valid; identifying, by the RA, a set of resolutions; ranking, by the RA, the set of resolutions to obtain a subset of resolutions; and initiating, by the RA, displaying of the subset of resolutions to a user.
