Abstract

A vehicle includes an inlet, a main battery, an auxiliary battery, and a communication device. The main battery is charged with electric power received by the inlet. The auxiliary battery is chargeable with electric power of the main battery. The communication device communicates with power equipment by using electric power of the auxiliary battery. The main battery is charged with minute electric power in a case where the vehicle does not participate in demand response and the SOC of the main battery is lower than a threshold value when the inlet is connected to the power equipment.
