Abstract

The display device includes light-emitting elements. Each of light-emitting elements includes a light-emitting layer containing quantum dots each including a core and a shell larger in energy gap than the core; and a hole-transport layer, adjacent to the light-emitting layer containing a p-type doping material and an organic hole-transport material. The plurality of light-emitting elements includes: a first light-emitting element including a first light-emitting layer as the light-emitting layer; a second light-emitting element including a second light-emitting layer as the light-emitting laver; and a third light-emitting element including a third light-emitting layer as the light-emitting layer. A peak wavelength of light emitted by the first light-emitting layer is longer than a peak wavelength of light emitted by the second light-emitting layer. The peak wavelength of the light emitted by the second light-emitting layer is longer than a peak wavelength of light emitted by the third light-emitting layer.
