Abstract
A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) and related apparatus are provided. In the method, the UE receives downlink control information (DCI) indicating for the UE to skip physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring or to extend a connected discontinuous reception (CDRX) active time. The DCI includes one or more of a skip indication, scheduling for a retransmission of a successfully decoded physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), a non-zero downlink assignment with a downlink retransmission transport block (TB) size that is different than an initial downlink transmission TB size, or a non-zero uplink assignment with an uplink retransmission TB size that is different than an initial uplink transmission TB size. The UE further skips transmission of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for the DCI.
