Abstract

In the present disclosure, an apparatusfirst receives, from a subscriber terminal, a first setting value A of a parameter used in a power consumption state. Next, the apparatustransmits, to an HSS, a setting request for storing a second setting value B which differs from A, and then transmits CLR, including a re-attach designation, to an MME. The MMEtransmits a detach request to the subscriber terminal, re-attaches, and then issues a notification to that effect. The notification includes a third setting value C, determined by the MME, for the parameter. The apparatus, having received a re-attachment completion notification, receives C from the subscriber terminal, and uses A, B, and C to assess the determination procedure.
