Abstract
Methods and arrangements for associating multispectral 2D image data with 3D image data from light triangulation performed by an imaging system for 3D imaging of an object are provided. The imaging system has second light sources for illuminating the object with multispectral second lights. Image data is obtained as first sensor positions, 'SP1s', of first images IM1s that correspond intensity peaks of reflected first light from light triangulation of the object. Second images, “IM2s”, are obtained and are imaging the object during illumination by the second lights, respectively. In an IM2, in relation to an SP1, a second sensor position, “SP2” is selected. Intensity values of SP2s are associated with the SP1s they were selected for, whereby multispectral 2D data corresponding to the intensity values in the SP2s from the reflected multispectral second lights become associated with the 3D data corresponding to the SP1s that the SP2s were selected for.
