Abstract
Modifying padding data to resynchronize stereoscopic cameras, including: determining, for a first camera out of synchronization with a second camera of the autonomous vehicle, a modified padding data setting for the first camera based on a maximum number of resync frames; and sending, to the first camera, a first command to reduce a frame rate of the first camera by increasing a frame length of the first camera to the modified padding data setting.
