Abstract
An embodiment of the present invention relates to a motor for a laundry apparatus, comprising: a stator comprising a core and a coil; and a rotor comprising a magnet and a rotor frame, wherein the rotor frame comprises a base frame, an extension frame, an edge portion, and a suction port disposed on the edge portion. Thus, the heat dissipation performance of the motor can be improved while securing the strength of the rotor frame.
