Abstract
Provided are a battery cell, a battery, a power consumption device, and a manufacturing method for a battery cell. The battery cell includes a housing, a protective member, a cell, an elastic member, a first gas-permeable component and a second gas-permeable component. The protective member is mounted on an inner wall of the housing and separates an inner space of the housing into a first chamber and a second chamber, the cell is disposed in the first chamber, the elastic member is disposed in the second chamber and located between the housing and the protective member, the protective member is configured such that the elastic member is compressed with expansion of the cell and stretched with contraction of the cell.
