Abstract
Various embodiments include systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for managing vehicle diagnostic data. Consistent with these embodiments, a method includes detecting a lack of Engine Control Unit (ECU) data reported by a vehicle in a time period, identifying distance data reported by the vehicle in the time period, determining that the vehicle traveled at a speed higher than a threshold speed in the time period, using a filtering algorithm to generate a spotty data point based on the distance data, and excluding the distance data that overlaps with the spotty data point from diagnostic data associated with the vehicle.
