Abstract
A system and method for visibly defining a dynamically-sized exit clearance area is disclosed. The method includes carrying out analytics on a plurality of images, of a first occupancy area, over a first time period, and prior to exit of at least one object from the first occupancy area via a portal, to automatically classify the at least one object as either one or more standard objects, or one or more non-standard objects. The method also includes determining size information: that defines size properties of variably-sized, visible lines indicia, and that is based on a classification corresponding to the automatic classifying of the at least one object. The method also includes generating, during a second time period after the first time period, the visible lines indicia on a traversable surface within a second occupancy area to visibly define an exit clearance area sized in accordance with the size information.
