Abstract
The present disclosure generally relates to systems and methods for descriptor-based querying of 3D models of physical structures. A plurality of descriptors can be generated to numerically represent the structural features of existing 3D models stored in a database. A new descriptor may be generated to represent structural features of a new 3D model. Existing 3D models that are structurally similar to the new 3D model can be identified by comparing the new descriptor with the descriptors of the existing 3D models.
