Abstract
A display selection buttoncomprises a light projecting unit, a light guide plate, a light receiving units, a control unit, and LED. The light guide platehas an incident surfaceto which the light emitted from the light projecting unitis incident, a plurality of prismsthat reflect incident light toward the side approaching or touching a finger and are provided at positions corresponding to push buttons, and an exit surfacethat emits the light reflected in the direction in which the finger approaches. The light receiving unitsreceive light emitted from the exit surfaceand reflected from a finger. The control unitdetects the approach of a finger depending on the amount of light received by the light receiving units. The light guide platehas the plurality of the prismsthat reflect the incident light and displays the desired design. The LEDsemit light to the light guide plateand cause the light to reflect on the plurality of the prisms
