Abstract

Circuitry, comprising: measurement circuitry having an input coupled to an electrode of an electrochemical cell and configured to convert an analyte signal at the electrode to an analog output signal; an ADC having an ADC input for receiving the analog output signal and configured to convert the analog output signal to a digital output signal; drive circuitry; and control circuitry operable in one or more of a calibration mode and a measurement mode. In the calibration mode, the drive circuitry applies a calibration signal at the input of the measurement circuitry, the control circuitry calibrates the measurement circuitry based on the analog or digital output signal responsive to the calibration signal. In the measurement mode, the drive circuitry applies an offset signal at the input of the measurement circuitry, the control circuitry controls the offset signal to maintain the analog or digital output signal within a threshold range.
