Abstract
A home appliance includes: a cabinet defining a storage space, and a door configured to open and close the storage space. The door includes a door body, and a panel assembly disposed at the door body and defining a front surface of the door. The panel assembly includes a panel defining the front surface of the door, a lighting device having a size corresponding to a size of the panel and comprising a plurality of light sources configured to emit light toward the panel, and a separation portion provided between the panel and the lighting device, where the separation portion is configured to, based on being contacted with a rear surface of the panel, be spaced apart from the light source.
