Abstract
A connection assembly for a frac pump includes a stay rods extending between a fluid end and a power end to removably connect the fluid end with the power end. The connection assembly also includes a first side plate disposed at a first end and extends between the fluid end and the power end. The first side plate is removably coupled with one or more stay rods from the plurality of stay rods that are disposed proximal to the first end. The connection assembly further includes a second side plate disposed at a second end and longitudinally opposite the first end. The second side plate extends between the fluid end and the power end. The second side plate is removably coupled with one or more stay rods from the plurality of stay rods that are disposed proximal to the second end.
