Abstract
A frame for an aircraft fuselage including a primary frame segment and a secondary frame segment. The primary frame segment includes a primary arc with two primary end sections and includes a primary inner surface and a primary outer surface. The secondary frame segment includes a secondary arc with two secondary end sections and includes a secondary inner surface and a secondary outer surface. The primary frame segment and the secondary frame segment are configured to be couplable to each other such that their end sections partially overlap so that a portion of the secondary inner surface of the secondary end sections of the secondary frame segment abuts on a portion of the primary outer surface of the primary end sections of the primary frame segment, thereby forming transition areas from the primary frame segment to the secondary frame segment.
