Abstract
A pontoon boat having a deck, a pontoon configured to float and thereby support the deck above a body of water, and a bracket assembly that couples the pontoon to the deck. The bracket assembly has a base bracket that is fixedly coupled to the deck and a hanger bracket that hangs the pontoon from the base bracket. The bracket assembly has a locked position in which the hanger bracket is fixed to the base bracket and an unlocked position in which the hanger bracket is slidable relative to the base bracket to facilitate removal of the pontoon from the deck.
