Abstract
A dual-ratchet winch attached to a plate, the dual-ratchet winch including: a ratchet mechanism coupled to and configured to rotate with respect to the plate, the ratchet mechanism including a pair of gears; a pawl including a pair of pawl tips and a locking hole, the pair of pawl tips configured to engage or disengage the pair of gears of the ratchet mechanism; a pair of wings to accept a pair of compression springs; and a pin assembly configured to keep the pair of pawl tips disengaged from the ratchet mechanism.
