Abstract
A method includes obtaining a first session setup request from a first core network device. The first session setup request is usable to request to set up a first session corresponding to a first multicast broadcast service. The first session setup request includes a first identifier corresponding to the first multicast broadcast service. The method further includes determining, based on the first identifier, that a multicast broadcast service corresponding to the first session is the same as a multicast broadcast service corresponding to a second session, and using an air interface resource corresponding to the second session as an air interface resource corresponding to the first session. The second session is a session set up of a second core network device.
