A method, in a wireless device, comprises, while in active time of connected-mode discontinuous-receive, c-DRX, mode, receiving () a scheduling message or control command from a network node. The method further comprises determining (), based on the scheduling message or control command and based on one or more conditions associated with the scheduling message or control command, whether to trigger a starting or restarting of an inactivity timer.
