Abstract
Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for transmission power adaptation. The method includes: receiving, at a first device and from a second device, a channel state information configuration; and in response to receiving a reference signal from the second device, transmitting to the second device a channel state information report based on the channel state information configuration, the channel state information report including assistance information on transmission power adjustment for the second device. In this way, the adjustment of transmission power and bandwidth assignment can be implemented without degrading the supported multiple input multiple output layers. Thus, the spectral efficiency is improved, while the data latency and network energy consumption are reduced.
