Abstract
In one aspect, a terminal receives, from a base station, an indication of activation or deactivation of a secondary cell and a trigger indication of a TRS (Tracking Reference Signal) via a single MAC-CE (Medium Access Control-Control Element). The terminal is configured to activate the secondary cell by using a TRS corresponding to a TRS configuration ID included in the trigger indication in a case where the indication is an indication of activation of a secondary cell. The terminal receives, from the base station, a trigger offset, information related to QCL (Quasi co-located), and a number of transmissions that are associated with the TRS configuration ID via RRC (Radio Resource Control) signaling, and applies the trigger offset, the information related to QCL, and the number of transmissions to reception of the TRS. In other aspects, a method, a base station, and a system are also disclosed.
