Abstract
Disclosed is an apparatus that transfers liquefied gas electrolyte (LGE) to electrochemical cells without the need for a temperature differential and without inducing an LGE phase change. The LGE comprises a liquefied gas solvent having a vapor pressure above 100 kPa at a temperature of 293.15 K and a salt. The apparatus utilizes a constant pressure cylinder to transfer LGE entirely in the liquid phase to an electrochemical cell.
