Abstract
Techniques include receiving a request to instantiate a layered notarized software architecture and instantiating a plurality of software layers in memory. The techniques further include generating a digital token on a primary ledger representing at least one software layer in the plurality of software layers. The techniques further include instantiating a target ledger associated with the at least one software layer and with the digital token, and instantiating at least one smart contract associated the target ledger and representing the at least one software layer. The techniques further include instantiating at least one data monitoring agent associated with the at least one software layer. The techniques further include enabling recording transactions associated with the at least one software layer via the at least one data monitoring agent.
