Abstract
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to systems and methods for receiving requests for permission to access data within a database system. This disclosure is meant to enable an end user to request access to different parts of a data model. The present disclosure provides a data visualization tool that represents data related to an organization by pulling in access state statuses for users associated with the organization and interweaves the user access state statuses with an interdependency graph. In some examples, the present disclosure generates a navigable interdependency graph based on data stored in a database, retrieves a number of access state statuses from a provisioning access service, maps the access state statuses to the navigable interdependency graph, and allows users to request permission to access datasets within the navigable interdependency graph.
