Abstract

An image processing apparatus () according to one form of the present disclosure includes: an image input unit () that receives an operative field image for an eye of a patient; an eyeball tracking unit () that tracks an eyeball in the operative field image; and a display image generation unit () that sets a plurality of regions having different display modes for the operative field image and generates a display image in which an annular or radial boundary in the plurality of regions indicates a specific position or a specific size with respect to the eye. The display image generation unit () changes a position or a size of the boundary on the basis of a tracking result of the eyeball and generates the display image.
