Abstract
A light projector module comprises a support, a light source for emitting in a beam path a light beam carrying said image, a MEMS mirror for deflecting the emitted light beam as a deflected light beam, and a waveguide with two parallel sides. The waveguide has an in-coupling section for coupling the deflected light beam into the waveguide and an out-coupling section for coupling the light beam out from the waveguide as an expanded light beam. An optical element lies beside the waveguide, overlaps the out-coupling section when seen in a direction perpendicular to the sides, and is configured to focus or defocus the expanded light beam as a focused or defocused output light beam.
