Abstract
A fitting for movably mounting a pivoting element relative to a stationary support includes a first fitting part to be fastened to a panel of the support; a second fitting part for fastening to the pivoting element, the second fitting part being pivotably connected to the first fitting part; a hinge pin arranged on the second fitting part and oriented substantially orthogonally relative to the longitudinal extent of the first fitting part and/or the second fitting part; and an adjusting device for adjusting the orientation of the second fitting part relative to the first fitting part along the at least one hinge pin. The second fitting part is displaceable relative to the first fitting part parallel to the hinge pin via the adjusting device, and the adjusting device is spaced from the hinge pin in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the second fitting part.
