Abstract
A capsule direction restricting mechanism includes a supply path, a restricting device, and a discharge path. The restricting deviceincludes: a pressing memberthat presses a capsuleat a predetermined position P in a width direction, and moves the capsuletoward the discharge path; and a slit-like posture changing portionthat is disposed between the predetermined position P and the discharge path, and changes the posture of the capsule. The posture changing portioncauses the capto slide and generate a frictional force when the capsulepasses through the posture changing portion, and thus causes the bodyto precede the cap. The pressing memberincludes: a protruding portionthat presses an axially central portion of the capsule; and cap pressing portionsandthat are provided on both sides of the protruding portion, and presses the capof the capsulewhose posture has been changed by the posture changing portion
