Abstract
Technology for selecting a control channel is described. Historical radar event data associated with one or more dynamic frequency selection (DFS) channels is used to determine a first score and a second score for a first set and a second set of channels, respectively. The first and second scores are used to determine that a radar event is less likely to occur on the first set than the second set of channels. A bonded channel is selected to include the combination of channels on which a radar event is less likely to occur. Historical interference data is used to determine a third score for a first channel of a bonded channel that includes at least the first set of channels. The third score is used to determine a control channel from the channels of the bonded channel. Management information associated with the bonded channel is sent on the control channel.
