Abstract
A method and system for deploying proactive responses and personnel messaging to improve contagion-related building management are disclosed. The system and method are configured to determine whether there is a high likelihood of a contagion-related event occurring in the building, based on local device sensors. In response to the predicted contagion-related event, a controller causes a modification in building access patterns that are intended to reduce the impact of the contagion in that area. In addition, an automated personnel alert system generates customized navigational guidance to occupants to better prepare persons affected by changes in access.
