Abstract
A method for use by a touch device to operate a touch panel includes allocating a first area of the touch panel to a touch control circuit, and performing a 2-dimensional scan on the first area. The method further includes allocating a second area of the touch panel to the touch control circuit, and applying a scan method or scan rate to the second area different from the first area.
