Abstract
The invention relates to a fluid dynamic bearing system, comprising a bearing bush and a shaft rotatably supported in the bearing bush, wherein an annular pressure plate is arranged at the shaft and wherein a bearing gap is formed which is filled with a bearing fluid, and wherein at least one fluid dynamic axial bearing is formed between an end face of the pressure plate and an end face of a cover plate, wherein the fluid dynamic axial bearing has groove structures provided on the pressure plate or the cover plate wherein, in the connection or junction region between the shaft and the pressure plate, at least one axially extending recess or hole is present, wherein the opening of the recess or hole of the pressure plate and the groove structure of the axial bearing do not overlap in the radial direction.
