Abstract
A bicycle operating apparatus includes an operating member, a hydraulic unit, an electrical switch, a wireless transmitter, a base member, and an additional operating member. The electrical switch is configured to be activated by an input operation from a user. The wireless transmitter is electrically coupled to the electrical switch and is configured to wirelessly transmit a signal to an additional bicycle component in response to the input operation. The base member is configured to be attached to a bicycle body. The additional operating member is movably mounted to the operating member. The additional operating member is configured to receive the input operation. The hydraulic unit is mounted to the base member. The operating member is movably mounted on the base member. The additional operating member is movable relative to the operating member. The electrical switch is mounted to the operating member.
