Abstract

A valve is provided for controlling a fluid flow, in particular through a catheter. The valve has a valve control chamber into which an inlet opening of an inlet channel and an outlet opening of an outlet channel open. The valve, further has a closure element which can be moved in the valve control chamber in a controlled manner and which, in at least a first position, closes the outlet opening, in at least a second position closes the inlet opening, and which, in at least a third position, keeps open a connecting channel between the inlet opening day and the outlet opening. The valve further has a valve train that moves the closure element to at least the first, second or third position.
