Abstract

An ocular composition consisting of purified water, PEG-80 sorbitan laurate, sodium trideceth sulfate, PEG-150 distearate, sodium lauroamphoacetate, cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine, sodium chloride, PEG-15 cocopolyamine, polyhexamethylene biguanide, 1,2 hexanediol, and caprylyl glycol. The composition can be applied to a fabric pad for use as an eyelid cleanser, where the fabric pad is pre-moistened with the composition and packaged for use. The composition may also be used in an eyelid treatment kit for convenient combination treatments to improve overall eyelid hygiene and adjunctive eyelid therapy.
