Abstract
A dishwasher includes a tub, a sump, a pump configured to supply the washing water stored in the sump to a washing space of the tub, and a spray arm configured to discharge the washing water from the pump into the washing space. A channel is defined inside the spray arm to spray the washing water into the washing space or discharge the washing water containing microbubbles into the washing space. The spray arm includes an upper cover and a lower cover coupled to a lower side of the upper cover. A flat surface is defined at one of the upper cover or the lower cover. The other of the upper cover or the lower cover comprises a pair of inner ribs that protrude toward the flat surface to define the channel and are in contact with the flat surface.
