Abstract
A system and method for optimizing quality of service (QoS) of vehicle communications by collecting data associated with vehicles, matching the vehicles based upon commonality of the collected data, and grouping the matched vehicles into a virtual lobby. The QoS data associated with the communication interface of each vehicle in the lobby is analyzed, and those vehicles in the lobby having poor QoS are switched to the communication interface used by other vehicle(s) in the lobby having better QoS.
