Abstract
Methods and systems for managing operation of a distributed system are disclosed. The operation may be managed by using subnets of selected edge devices and/or the selected edge devices to generate a final response to a prompt. The prompt may be transmitted through the subnets to the selected edge devices. The selected edge devices may be selected from edge devices of the subnets using processes that include (i) information elimination, (ii) elimination validation, (iii) selection refinement, and/or (iv) any other process used to determine the selected edge devices. Sub-responses to derived prompts may be generated by the subnets and/or the selected edge devices. At least a portion of the sub-responses may be transmitted to the management system. The management system may obtain the final response from the at least the portion of the sub-responses.
