Abstract
A battery module includes a housing element () made of a metallic material () and a lid element () made of a metal material (), which are connected to one another while forming a common internal space () configured to accommodate a plurality of battery cells () by the formation of a plurality of plastic deformations () of the lid element () that are arranged so as to be spaced apart from one another, in such a way that an electrical contact is established between the housing element () and the lid element ().
