Abstract
According to aspects disclosed herein, a user interface (UI) is configured for creating avatars while watching video content, but are not so limited. According to an aspect, a UI is configured to identify at least one character of a video scene of video content to be used as an avatar and enable selection of the at least one character to create the avatar. The UI is also configured to, in response to selection of the at least one character, communicate a request to create the avatar based on the at least one character. The UI is further configured to, after the avatar is created, display the avatar and a control to accept the avatar, and in response to actuation of the control to accept the avatar, store the avatar.
