Abstract
A ferrule includes a ferrule body and at least one fiber. The fiber is inserted into a through hole axially disposed in the ferrule body, a first end of the fiber is located inside the through hole, an end face of the first end of the fiber is below a plane on which a connection end face of the ferrule body is located, and a first preset distance is a vertical distance between the end face and the plane. The first preset distance causes two abutted ferrules to have a gap between the fibers.
